About Me

998149_980719305343332_2065919962734871497_nThanks for joining me! I’m Kelly and I live in a small town in Quebec, Canada. I’m a self-taught DIY-er and I have a true addiction for junk. I seriously can’t drive by a roadside pile of  stuff without taking a second look. I often feel sorry for these castaways thinking that I can always use it for “something” which explains my shed full of junk! I even look at new things and wonder what I can make them into.

I’m disorganised, scattered and have the attention span of a gnat…which explains the numerous projects I have on the go at one time. Look! A squirrel!!

I have a loft that I hesitantly call a Studio but it’s often so cluttered that my projects spill onto the kitchen table, the counter, the table outside…and on it goes. And I don’t think it’s a problem until I nail through the table or spill paint on the hardwood floors.

I followed my husband (a soldier with the Canadian Forces) to Quebec…a place where you need to speak French in order to work and, well, I don’t speak French! So, for the first time in my life I am blessed with time! Precious time to create and construct to my heart’s content!

I have a passion for rusty stuff, old books, old wood furniture, and, well, anything old! And I love painting things…love looking at an object and seeing the possibilities of what could be…and I’m going to share my passions with you!
